KALEN CREW
Carnivale’s chaos squad.
If Carnivale had a pulse, the Kalen Crew would be the part that hits too fast and doesn’t quite sound right… but somehow keeps everything alive.
They’re not organised. Not properly. No clean structure, no leader barking orders. But they move like one thing. Tight, instinctive, loyal in a way that doesn’t need to be explained.
You don’t join them casually.
And once you’re in, you don’t drift out.
WHAT THEY DO
They don’t have one thing. That’s the point.
They run drugs through back routes no one else can hold
Set up underground fights, races, events that don’t exist on paper
Live off extreme risk… bikes, jumps, anything fast or stupid enough
Move weapons and gear through the desert when it suits them
And yeah… they cause problems just to see what happens
They’re not chasing a career.
They’re chasing the moment right before something goes wrong.
HOW THEY OPERATE
They don’t hide much. They don’t need to.
The Guardians know they’re there. Everyone does.
But the Crew is smart enough to stay just this side of the line… most of the time.
They push it. Test it. Lean over it.
But they don’t break it outright unless they’re ready for what comes next.
They’ve got ties running everywhere under the surface:
Blackreach – trades, quiet deals, materials moving through
Sector 9 – tech, mods, things that shouldn’t be in the open
The Wastelands – stuff dragged out of places no one goes willingly
They’re not in charge of anything.
But they’re connected to everything.
HOW TO RECOGNISE THEM
You’ll know.
Neon-painted skull masks
Bright mohawks… pink, blue, yellow
Heavy tattoos, not clean, not pretty
Leather, straps, scrap metal, chains
Gear that looks like it’s been through something
No uniforms. No perfect copies. But they all carry the same energy.
Like they’re already halfway into trouble.
FINAL NOTE
Most people in Kovari keep their heads down.
Kalen Crew don’t.
They live loud, move fast, and stay close to each other no matter what.
And Carnivale?
Carnivale lets them get away with it… just enough.
