In Nocthane’s journal, a "Cycle" refers to the Expedition Year, not the total age of Kovari Island.

Cycle 0001 marks the beginning of his personal journey into uncharted regions, not the creation of the island itself.

2. What is a "Glitch Sigil"?

A Glitch Sigil is a symbolic description of environmental corruption detected by Nocthane’s scanning instruments.

These glitches reveal fractures in the natural world — from radiation fields to spatial anomalies — and form unstable, often recurring patterns that resemble ancient sigils.

3. What is the "Sentiment Override"?

Sentiment Override is Nocthane’s official emotional status recorded at the time of each journal entry.

As a Driftscribe, he is expected to suppress emotional interference, but the Override reveals subtle shifts — caution, instability, dread — that slip through despite protocol.

4. What is the "Cross-Referential Prompt"?

This field connects certain observations or anomalies to future or past entries.

All transmissions delayed until safe extraction from anomaly zones is achieved.

Standard survival packs — including nutrient capsules, hydration cells, and minor medical supplies.

Designed for periods of isolation up to 60 days without resupply.

Priority placed on self-sufficiency over engagement.
